Current Volunteers

After completing your initial process, you will be required to renew your training annually unless you’re no longer volunteering with us.

We have two options to renew your training:

• In-person classes are offered once a month on a Saturday morning. Contact Olga Gilbert at: ogilbert@stjosephcc.net to be registered on the following class.

• Online Renewal Classes are offered. You’ll receive an email with your login information and expiration date, make sure to follow the prompts and complete your class. Your ministerial leadership will be communicating with you to ensure compliance.

Our Diocese has transitioned to Virtus.org as a new platform for clearance and renewals. Click HERE for more information about Virtus.

On Virtus, you’ll have your own login information and access to your profile. To update your login and create your password:

1. Go to www.virtus.org.

2. Enter the email address you previously used on the old Safe Environment platform.

3. Select “I need login help” and follow the prompts to reset your password.

4. Once you’ve completed the update, proceed to take your training.

5. Be sure to review and update your personal information (address, cell phone, etc.) and acknowledge any required forms (background check, etc.) 6.
