Join us this evening at 7 PM for our sensory-friendly Mass! A sensory-friendly Mass is a unique religious service designed to support individuals with disabilities, creating a more inclusive environment for participation in the Catholic Mass. This type of service addresses the sensory sensitivities and challenges experienced by individuals with autism or sensory processing disorders. The Mass will include dimmed lighting, limited sounds, no incense, literal communication, and visuals to ensure everyone can engage comfortably.
Sensory Masses are scheduled to occur on the third Saturday of each month at 7 PM.
We are seeking lectors for the Sensory Mass. If you're interested, please reach out to Stacey at speterson@stjosephcc.net.
