Lenten Labyrinth Walk

The labyrinth is a divine imprint inviting us into a deeper relationship with God. The St Joseph labyrinth is a replica at the cathedral in Chartes, France. We hope you will be able to join us and reclaim this ancient tradition. Walking the path is a special meditation that can lead to an awakening, and closeness with God. Some suggestions in walking our labyrinth path. Begin with an intention. Trust the path. Allow time for the Holy Spirit to work within you. There is no right or wrong way to pray and walk the labyrinth Let your experience remind you in life to trust the path and keep walking. In the middle of our labyrinth you see a rose. In Christian tradition the rose is a symbol of Mary. Walking the path may allow you to release old injuries, fears or defeats, cleaning your heart of life’s burdens and allow for God’s healing. St Augustine is quoted as saying, “Solvitur ambulando,” it is solved by walking.

Please join us this Lent to walk the labyrinth as a group on March 10 immediately following the 6pm Mass.
