September 14 | 6:00-9:00 PM | In the Sanctuary
The Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is celebrated on September 14 to honor the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified. The universal symbol of the Christian faith, the cross represents Christ’s victory over death. The feast celebrates the redemptive transformation of a barbaric instrument of torture into a divine “tree of life” that brings hope to humankind. We will have veneration to our own relic of the Holy Cross to commemorate this Feast Day.
