Roe v Wade is Gone but with that many more challenges have risen
Hike for Life is Texas’ oldest Pro-Life event, beginning in October of 1973 and continuing each year since. Funds raised at the Hike go to Pregnancy Resource Centers, Maternity Homes, and other Pro-Life ministries that are approved by the Diocese of Dallas and our Bishop.
Do we need to have a Hike now that Roe has been defeated? Yes!! There are more women in need now than ever… they need the care that the 2 Pregnancy Resource Centers provides that we support; many moms need a place to stay until they give birth and some to stay longer, so they need the 4 maternity homes we support.
There are too many people that believe that abortion is ok, good even, and that is where our many Pro-Life ministries that we support come in to help. Last year the Hike raised over $110,000 in Dallas for Life.
This year the Hike for Life will be held Saturday October 8th at Audubon Park in Garland. You can register now to Hike or Sponsor a Team/Hiker. Go to Hike for Life Tx and select the Dallas Hike St Joseph team.
Registration at the event starts at 8:30AM and the Hike begins at 9AM. You can hike, be a sponsor or just come for the Opening Ceremonies but come and be a part of supporting these ministries and Helping Moms and Saving Babies!!
