The St Joseph Women’s Guild will meet on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 7 PM in the dining hall. Please note the change of day. The church office will be closed for the MLK holiday and the church building will be locked on Monday.
The program for the evening will be a presentation/demonstration by the organization of Patriot PAWS Service Dogs. Their mission is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. More information can be found on their web site: www. patriotpaws.org. Please bring a snack or dessert.
Our January donation is about participation -- a 100% participation of our members. A mighty goal, but an easy one. The donation itself is one (1) jar of peanut butter for what we are calling "Peanuts on Parade." The jars will go to Network families. We have 70+ members, and if everyone donates, we will hit our goal of full participation, and we'll collect 70+ jars of peanut butter. If you live out of town, maybe a Guild friend can pick up a jar for you. If you are in town but may not be able to make the meeting, ask a Guild friend to help you out. We will take pictures of our peanuts on parade, so even if you live far away your jar will be in the photo.
