Professor Gene Giuliano presents “Last Things”
Sundays Beginning September 10 | 10:15 - 11:30AM
“What Eye Has Not Seen and Ear Has Not Heard”
The reality of death and its finality give an urgency to our lives. Death is certain, but then what?
We confess that death is not the last event because we are destined for eternity. We confess that God has called us to salvation, yet we acknowledge that our eternity is the eternity of our choice. Judgment, resurrection, immortality, heaven, hell, and purgatory are all complementary doctrines. They must be understood together, because they need each other to be complete.
Also, we must understand what they, together, tell us about what it means to be human in relation to the God who created us. Join us as we explore how Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and contemporary theology address the questions, “What is death?” and “What happens after death?”
Cost is $37.50 per person (includes convenience fee)
