Project Finding Calcutta

Find your own Calcutta. Find the sick, the suffering, and the lonely, right where you are — in your own homes and in your own families, in your workplaces and in your schools. You can find Calcutta all over the world, if you have eyes to see.
— Mother Teresa

Would you like to make a difference?

Are you looking for service opportunities?

Join us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and prayer at 9:00 a.m. in the dining hall and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly by creating a beautiful garden at a nursing home, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families, make lunch and serve at a homeless shelter, organize items at a food pantry, and feed the homeless on the streets.

This is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. By serving with us, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions (Liability Waiver). Everyone under 18 should print the Liability Waiver and have it signed by the parent before coming to the event. Please like us on Facebook, check out pictures on Instagram, and GroupMe to be notified about upcoming events. Like Mother Teresa said, “let us do something beautiful for God.”

ADDRESS
Meet us at 9:00 a.m. in the dining hall of St. Joseph Catholic Church (600 S Jupiter Rd, Richardson, TX 75081). Please know that this is where it begins but we will go to different locations after the fellowship and orientation, so don’t be late.
