Knights of Columbus

KoC Council 8954 is based in St Joseph but is open to any practicing Catholic male of age 18 or above. The K of C is a fraternal organization which provides religious and social activities to its members and their families.

The council is also active in parish activities, promotes religious vocations, and supports charities such as the Diocese of Dallas' Deaf Ministry and Persons with Disabilities.

The council has a monthly business meeting and a monthly social meeting which involves family activities.

The Knights of Columbus Scholarship

The Knights of Columbus scholarship is available to any graduating high school senior intending to enroll in a university, college, or trade school for the 2026-2027 academic year. To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria: they should be a child or grandchild of an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Community.

The deadline is August 15, 2026. All applications are to be dropped off at the church office by the deadline date or emailed to the scholarship committee chair, Curt Landry, at curt.landry@att.net
