UD Professor Series
Professor Gene Guiliano presents “Jewish Roots of the Eucharist”
Sundays Beginning September 15 | 10:15 - 11:30AM
Join us for an exciting opportunity to examine the deep connections between the Catholic Mass and the religious, spiritual, and liturgical life of ancient Israel. We will explore the foundations of the Mass, using the Old and New Testaments to bring to light the profound meaning behind covenant, sacrifice, memorial, banquet and hospitality.
Together we will reflect on the mystery of Jesus' presence in the Eucharist by uncovering the rich spiritual significance behind what we say and do at Mass. Together we will gain a deeper appreciation for the Jewish roots of the Eucharist and experience how this appreciation can impact our own spiritual journey.
Cost is $37.50 per person (includes convenience fee)
